Younger Man with Autism Offers Heartwarming Greatest Man Speech at His Brother’s Wedding ceremony
A good groomsmen speech ensures a few laughs, maybe a few tears and a lot of love. That was certainly the case when Jonah and Madison Waldron got married that summer in Iowa.

Jonah’s brother Sam served as best man and was quite nervous about delivering the speech. The 23-year-old has autism and is uncomfortable in front of large crowds. However, love for Jonah helped him overcome fear in order to pay a touching and fun tribute to his supportive big brother.
In a TikTok video that has been shared more than 27,000 times by Jonah and Madison since it was first posted, you can see Sam getting things started with a little honesty and humor.
He says, “I’m so honored to be here as the best man, but I’m also scared. You see, I have autism. My autism can scare me terribly about interacting with people, let alone giving a speech in front of 170 of them, for Pete’s sake. “
He goes on to say that there are two people he would do this for: his brother and his new sister-in-law. At this point, you can see that Jonah and Madison are pretty emotional.

To lighten the mood, he welcomes Madison to the family and says they are like a good fudge: “mostly sweet but with a bunch of nuts”. He also congratulates her on marrying the second most beautiful Waldron, before reminding her why everyone in the family already loves her.
Then comes the right waterworks, as he addresses Jona.
He says, “When your little brother was growing up, you never looked down on me. You picked me up You took care of me. You always reminded me that being different is a real strength, not a weakness. You were and are patient and friendly. “
Sam paints a heartwarming picture of how his brother was there for him as he struggled with school and helped him find his place. Over the years, Sam says the support hasn’t changed.
When Sam finishes his speech, you can see that the tears and giggles weren’t just reserved for the newlyweds. After the toast there is a standing ovation.
