Watch Prince George and Princess Charlotte assist their dad out on Father’s Day
In a super cute surprise appearance, the two oldest Cambridge children joined Prince William to start a special half marathon.
It appears Prince George and Princess Charlotte wanted to stay with papa to Father’s Day! The duo stayed close to Prince William and made a surprise appearance to start the half marathon at the very first Run Sandringham event and we can’t believe how much they have grown.
In an Instagram video by @the_mr_mike, who was one of the runners who attended the event, we see the two older Cambridge kids dressed in shorts and Nikes as they huddled around their father’s microphone. The trio counts until the start of the race before cheering on the runners. Look here:
The two children looked understandably nervous, but we loved seeing Charlotte’s concentration as she counted back from six. And they’re both so big! George, who will be eight in July, and Charlotte, die just turned six In May, he looked so tall next to Prince William, who is said to be six feet tall. This isn’t surprising, however, considering Duchess Kate is 5’9 tall. Looks like George and Charlotte will definitely follow their parents when it comes to size.
The Duke and Duchess also remembered Father’s Day with a video on her own Instagram, which featured an unprecedented photo of Prince William and his children Trooping the Color ceremony in 2019. Also included in the clip were a photo of Prince William and Prince Harry as children with Prince Charles, a photo of Kate and her father Michael Middleton, and a group photo of the Queen and the late Prince Philip posing with their grandchildren. But on June 21, when Prince William turns 39, there is a lot more for the Cambridge family to celebrate. After seeing all of these runners in action, maybe the kids rushed up the stairs this morning to bring their father breakfast to bed?
