Watch Gabrielle Union educate her two-year-old about physique positivity

This celebrity mom recently posted a cute clip of a teaching moment she shared with her daughter Kaavia in the pool after asking about the birthmarks on her mother’s body.

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade are devoted parents who taught their two-year-old daughter Kaavia how to live her best life. And that is part of it totally love yourself.

The 48-year-old actress and activist took to Instagram and TikTok this week to share a very cute video teaching Kaavia about moles and how they are just tiny spots on the skin.

In the clip, mother and daughter relax in the pool when the Bring It On star decided to explain beauty marks to the curious toddler.

“Mom has a lot of birthmarks,” said Gabrielle. pointing at her body. “I have birthmarks on my face.”

When Kaavia replied, “Oh no! I don’t have a mole, ”her mother answered gently.

“Right here,” Kaavia said, pointing to her face before Gabrielle hilariously said, “No, that’s your lip.”

Then mom helped her find it and they found a beauty mark on Kaavia’s foot.

“You see, there’s your mole,” Gabrielle said gently, pointing to it. “But see, nobody cares, so just leave it.”

“I’ll leave it”, Kaavia replied.

“Yes, it’s part of you. It’s Kaav’s mole, ”Gabrielle repeated, then pointed to her and Kaavia’s mole to substantiate the point.

“We have moles!” Kaavia shouted enthusiastically, jumping up and down in the water.

The clip was shared on Kaavia’s own Instagram and Gabrielle’s TikTok accounts with a caveat for viewers: “If your moles change in size or shape, don’t do TikTok, but make a doctor’s appointment.”

By looking at their social media presence, it is very easy to see how much Gabrielle and Dwyane not only love their little girl, but are also devoted parents to Zaya, Zaire, and Xavier, Dwyane’s children from previous relationships. The couple was very supportive of Zaya, who came out as transgender a few years ago and said that they would never stand behind her.

“She is leading us on this journey,” he said said good morning America Early 2020.

“We’re just trying to find out as much information as we can to make sure we’re giving our child the best opportunity to be the best they can be,” he told Ellen DeGeneres around the same time.

We are happy to see that Gabrielle and Dwyane are such great parents!
