Training Minister visits colleges to examine progress

Doha: Minister of Education and Higher Education HE Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi paid an inspection visit to a number of government schools to check the progress of the educational process, and their readiness to receive students and its commitment to the precautionary and preventive measures in place to curb spread of COVID-19).
The Minister expressed her happiness with the students’ return to their schools and classrooms and their interaction with their classmates and teachers, which enhances their academic achievement and develops their abilities and social skills.
The Minister visited Salah Al Din Preparatory School for Boys and Umama Bint Hamza Primary School for Girls, where she met with school leaders, and praised their role in the continuity of the educational process despite the pandemic.
She also directed efficient use of available resources to compensate for educational losses for students during the past period, especially in the field of enhancing skills and providing social and psychological support for students with special needs, stressing the importance of the role of qualified teachers in providing students with educational competencies for the coming period.
Minister of Education stressed to school leaders the need to provide a healthy and safe school environment that enhances academic achievement, in addition to strengthening partnership with parents in the educational decision.
