Spielbauer to resign as Carlisle colleges superintendent efficient Dec. 31 | Training
During this time she earned a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership along with a Superintendent Authorization Letter from Shippensburg University. She also took part in a doctoral degree at Widener University.
The board is very proud of all the hard work that has been done under Spielbauer’s leadership over the past four years, said Bussard. “The board is confident that the district will continue to thrive in the years to come because of the initiatives initiated under her leadership, the dedication of our families, and the strong bonds the district has forged.”
The press release published on Friday listed the following achievements during Spielbauer’s tenure as superintendent:
• Increase family engagement by setting up a family counseling group and using Thought Exchange, an online tool.
• Strengthen the school’s career and technology program to the point where nearly a third of Carlisle High School students take one or more career and technology courses.
• Strengthen collaboration between the district and the Carlisle Area Education Association.
• Led the district’s extensive planning efforts that resulted in curriculum and classroom improvements in elementary, middle, and high schools.
