SNHU As soon as Once more Acknowledged as a High Employer in Increased Schooling, Most Revolutionary within the North
Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) was named a top university by two national publications today. SNHU was named “A Great College to Work For” for the 14th consecutive year as part of the Great Colleges Program, one of the largest and most prestigious job recognition programs in the country. US News & World Report also announced today that SNHU has been named the most innovative university in the North as part of its annual Best Colleges ranking. The SNHU has been included in both rankings every year since it was founded.

As one of the largest employers in Granite State, SNHU is the only New Hampshire university to make the Great Colleges list. The SNHU also received honorary list status for 11 years in a row because it performed well in several categories, including job satisfaction and support, compensation and benefits, professional development, mission and pride, effectiveness of the supervisor / department head, trust in management, faculty and employee health – being and diversity, inclusion & belonging.
ModernThink LLC, a strategic recruitment firm that has run numerous Best Places to Work programs, conducted the survey and analyzed this year’s results.

All full-time faculty and staff were invited to take part in the survey, and more than two-thirds provided feedback. Based on the three most important answers, SNHU staff believe that the university is taking appropriate steps to protect the health and safety of faculty, staff and students, provide services that meet staff needs, and make a positive contribution to the community .
The Great Colleges Program, now in its 14th year, recognizes institutions that have received top marks from their staff for work practices and guidelines. The survey results are based on 196 applications from participating colleges and universities and consisted of a two-part assessment process: an institutional audit that recorded demographics and workplace guidelines, and an anonymous survey of faculty, administrative staff and professional support staff.
The most important factor in determining whether an institution should receive recognition was feedback from staff. The survey asked staff and faculty across the country to rate the leadership, career opportunities, compensation and general work environment of their employers.
US News’ “Most Innovative Schools” category is based solely on a peer assessment survey conducted by college presidents, provosts, and admissions deans – who are asked to nominate institutions that “make the most innovative improvements to curriculum , Faculty, students, campus life, technology or equipment. ” As one of the fastest growing universities in the country, the SNHU tops the list for seven years in a row.
