Shock! Princess Charlotte cradles a butterfly in a candy new picture
Prince William and Kate clearly pass on their love of nature to their children.
Prince William and Kate surprised fans today with a new pic of Princess Charlotte for a very important reason. The royal parents posted the cute snap on social media, along with some lovely close-up shots of peacock and red admiral butterflies in a bid to help protect the butterflies.
In the photo, Charlotte looks at her hands as she cradles a Red Admiral butterfly. The princess wears a blue t-shirt with pockets and lace edges with pink floral shorts and her blonde hair falls loosely around her shoulders.
“@savebutterflies encourage us all to count these incredible creatures because not only are they beautiful creatures, but they are also extremely important, ”explained the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in the caption. “Butterflies are vital parts of the ecosystem, both as pollinators and as part of the food chain.” They added that they hope the UK Butterfly Conservation Organization can surpass last year’s total, which is part of the Big # ButterflyCount initiative across the country .
We’re used to seeing photos of the Cambridge kids on their birthdays, but it’s always a fun surprise when their mom and dad share unexpected shots like this one. Charlotte is evidently developing into a nature lover like her parents. Accordingly Hello!, Kate took the photo while on a family trip to Big Butterfly Count. She is often behind the lens of photos of her daughter and sons Prince George, 8, and three-year-old Prince Louis.
Back in May Charlotte starred in a new photo was taken in by her mother for her sixth birthday on May 2nd in her country house. She smiled broadly in a floral button-up dress, even with her blonde hair flowing freely. We love to see the Cambridge kids in the great outdoors where they always look so happy. Even though we often have to beg and bribe our children to take them outside, they are always happiest in the fresh air!
On Father’s Day, George and Charlotte helped their father start the half marathon at the very first Run Sandringham event. In a cute video, you joined Prince William on the microphone count down to the start of the race.
Looks like the Cambridge kids are having a fun summer in the country!
