Science is the search for knowledge. It uses this knowledge to solve problems. When you take part in science, you understand the world better. In scientific research, you gather evidence and look for patterns.
I saw this phrase recently in an elementary science class. I agreed that science is the search for knowledge and that problem solving comes from what you do with knowledge. When I first came across that third sentence, I read it too quickly and wrongly. I read it as: “If you are part of the scientific experiment“You understand the world better.” If there was ever a time when I felt like I was stuck in a scientific experiment, it is now.
The day I saw this paragraph was the day Joe Biden https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/speeches-remarks/2021/09/09/remarks-by-president-biden- on-fighting-the-demanded. covid-19-pandemic-3 / again that all Americans are vaccinated. Millions chose the shots, but he spoke to the holdouts specifically that day:
“Many of us are frustrated with the nearly 80 million Americans who are still not vaccinated, even though the vaccine is safe, effective, and free.
This is a pandemic for the unvaccinated. And it is caused by the fact that despite the fact that America has an unprecedented and successful vaccination program, despite the fact that free vaccines have been available in 80,000 different locations for almost five months, we still have nearly 80 million Americans
who didn’t get the shot.
As your President, tonight, I am announcing a new plan that will see more Americans vaccinated to combat those who block public health.
We will protect vaccinated employees from unvaccinated employees. We will reduce the spread of COVID-19 by increasing the percentage of the vaccinated workforce in companies across America. “
Biden ignores the fact that some people can’t choose to have it for valid reasons and is furious that others refuse to get it even though it’s free.
“And my message to unvaccinated Americans is: what can you wait for? What else do you need to see? We made vaccinations free, safe and convenient. “
Biden continues to complain that not enough people are fully vaccinated yet. He wants to track down the villains. He will do that by restricting their movement. The elimination of rights and privileges used to be just a strategy on paper; today it is a priority.
The hypocrisy of Biden and others driving the experimental recordings is ripe.

He moved the goal post in a very short time and thus stepped back on his word. So did others. Multitudes of people with unknown medical histories and conditions are not tested for COVID, while healthy U.S. student athletes are over-tested. These young adults have also been forced to get a vaccine that they don’t want. Those who refused will now be expelled from their college campus or fined for their decision. This is not the land of the free because of the brave. Even the brave are now deliberately and severely persecuted. I ask Biden, when does it end? When will we, the people, get our basic rights back?
Biden’s frustration is evident.
So is mine.
Science is the search for knowledge. It uses this knowledge to solve problems.
The latest contradictions are exaggerated. We no longer see longstanding scientific practices. It takes time to look for evidence and study patterns in our environment, with the exception of COVID. The patterns and rules I’ve seen over the past few months are illogical, destructive, and affect people in the most terrible ways.
COVID has created more problems than solutions. If one adds even more difficulties to an already difficult existence, the science one follows is not a science. It is anything but.
When it comes to COVID, we just have to stick to it. If we don’t, we become a problem.
This video is a great reminder of what has happened since the beginning.
I didn’t know what COVID was about at the end of 2019, but I trusted that we would get some insight into it as information became available. Perhaps I naively thought that science, as we all learned it, would help me. However, when I realized that information was being guarded and tampered with, I stopped reading the science. I couldn’t trust this, so I started reading civic topics and articles about how to protect my human rights instead.
With the therapeutics and treatments available, I think I can deal with COVID, The Illness. I still don’t know how to fully deal with COVID, The Destroyer. That’s because COVID, The Destroyer, has turned parts of my country into a place I don’t know anymore.
