Most of all, Youngkin needs speed and results, a sense of dynamic progress, a lasting and serious commitment to parents. If he opens a charter school in every county or even in the densest metropolitan areas, he will spark a revolution in the state. If he builds new centers of excellence, recruits the best and brightest classical teachers, and pays credit to all schools, not just Virginia’s famous Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, the debate of every governor across the country by 2022 will become “the” Youngkin -Way. “That was” the Ducey Way “in Arizona under Governor Doug Ducey (R), but Virginia is always remembered by the Beltway ruling class.
