Opinion | A baby’s schooling shouldn’t be a ‘battle’
The use of the author’s techniques and strategies to support the understanding and development of her daughter, as well as the description of the charisma, persistence and individuality of her daughter, gave me pleasure. But their challenge to include something as simple as learning sign language in their individual education plan was annoying. There are many ways to go about this seamlessly. I wonder why these parents have to “fight” for something that not only enriches their daughter’s life, but could also contribute to the social and educational development of their peers.
