In my first series Blogging is it; I discussed why I chose blogging as a medium to get my thoughts across. Thanks to BlogChatter for hosting this half marathon that is all about me. In this blog post I want to write about why I chose Momlifeandlifestyle as my domain name.
When I entered motherhood in early 2016, I have researched, or rather read, many articles in the past on the subject of pregnancy and motherhood. At first it was a random application thought through all of these bloggers and writers who provided me with amazing content.
I later felt the urge to start blogging with parenting and motherhood as the main topics. I was already in this phase. I scribbled many names in a book, but nothing seemed to match what I was trying to say or convey.
Momlifeandlifestyle as my domain name
I didn’t want to be just a motherhood blog, I wanted to be a lifestyle blog as well. Topics related to motherhood, parenting, lifestyle, health and wellness, and mental health. And after many days and a few conversations with my partner, Momlifeandlifestyle finally came out as a domain name.
It’s been almost a year since I received the domain name and hosting. And I try my best to keep up with the parents’ interests. I firmly believe that research into children and parenting is not a mother’s duty. Lately, many fathers or fathers-to-be have also been doing research.
Momlifeandlifestyle is an attempt to help mothers and parents get on with life, not to mention that life with children is so unpredictable. Just an attempt to share some tips and tricks and some real conversations about motherhood and parenting.
Check out other great posts from Momlifeandlifestyle. I have my first e-book “Maternity Talks. Straight from Heart “as part of the BlogChattereBookCarnival. Download your copy.
Maternity talks. my first e-book.
I couldn’t be happier to have published my first eBook. And blogging was my main goal to get my thoughts across and to help other parents and parents-to-be.
This blog post is part of BlogChatterHalfMarathon. In which we would only have to write 10 posts about “me”.
In the next post I want to talk about how I deal with blogging and children.
Until then, stay tuned!
