Matus Regulation Group To Maintain Free Webinar: Particular Wants Training & Particular Wants Trusts
New Jersey – To help families who have a child with a disability choose the best education strategies, Matus Law Group (https://matuslaw.com/monmouth-county-nj/) will hold a free webinar on the most essential special needs education tools, on Wednesday, February 23rd.
Titled: “The Future They Deserve: Special Needs Education & Special Needs Trusts” the webinar, which will be held from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm EDT, will feature all the relevant information to help families with special needs find allies advocating for their child in a legal system.
The webinar will be hosted by Matus Law Group’s Founding Attorney Christine Matus, an experienced and trusted New Jersey estate planning lawyer dedicated to helping families plan for life and care for loved ones.
The co-host of the webinar is Adam Dayan, Esq., a top-notch special needs education attorney based in New Jersey. Mr. Dayan’s practice is focused on child’s legal advocacy making sure the school districts provide the services a child with special needs is entitled to.
“Being an advocate for your child with disabilities can be a very tough job, but it doesn’t mean you have to do it alone. With the help of attorneys like Adam you can find peace of mind by trusting them to quickly resolve disputes in a tactful, non-confrontational style, where possible,” said Christine Matus, the special needs estate lawyer.
Part of being an advocate is making sure the parents have the right information so they know what to ask for, which is why it is important to talk about the legal tools available for special needs families.
The webinar will provide a comprehensive study of the following: What is the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and how can a family qualify; What are Individualized Education Programs (IEP’s), and what can an education institution provide to address the needs of a child with an identified disability; What are the Special Needs Trusts, how do they work, and how they can help a person access government benefits like Medicaid and SSI; Why it’s important to set up the Guardianship for one’s child with disabilities once they turn 18.
To register visit the Matus Law Group website. The webinar is open to everyone and is free of charge. It is advised to reserve the seat in advance due to the limited space. Those interested can also sign up to get the recording of the webinar if they can’t make it to the live show.
