As I listened to Biden’s speech, I heard my mother’s voice in my head. “Young lady, I don’t like that TONE in your voice!” I got the “Tone” comment when I answered her in a disgusting way. Biden’s speech about his draconian vaccination mandates was rude, mean, counterproductive and full of “tone”. The president is not a king, he works for us. Our country is divided enough right now that the last thing a president should do is pit Americans against each other. In fact, NO politician should approach the American public in such a vicious, divisive manner.
I don’t need my advanced psychology degree to know that shame and blame are the least effective way to get people to change their minds. In fact, shame and blame are only there to anchor the belief or behavior that another person is trying to change. Who is the idiot who wrote that nasty, mean speech? It backfired completely.
Biden’s simplified understanding of Covid and vaccination is terrifying. It’s not a black and white thing of unvaccinated vs. vaccinated as he portrays. Over 50 million Americans have had Covid and have the antibodies! They don’t need a vaccine, and like any reasonable person, they don’t want a medical procedure that they don’t need. But now people who have immunity and natural immunity far superior to vaccine-induced immunity are going to lose their jobs because they reject a vaccine they don’t need? I want a doctor to defend these idiotic policies. Anyway, I want an American to defend such a stupid and cruel law.
President Biden, instead of blaming unvaccinated people who literally did nothing wrong, take responsibility for the chaos YOU caused. At a time when we desperately need fresh, innovative leadership, you have this 100-year-old political hacker Dr. Fauci blamed for the Covid efforts. YOU have the ineffective 100-year-old Dr. Collins blamed for the NIH. Fauci lied to the American people about the origins of Covid and illegally granted “Eco Health” millions of NIH funds (laundered) to conduct feature gain research in Wuhan. Fauci tells the public just the opposite in his NIH emails. President Biden, you have this hack under control even though you know he is a liar who has lost the respect of the American public.
People are dying of Covid because your administration, because you don’t invest in early treatment through the NIH. Stop blaming people who cannot be vaccinated for the deaths under your supervision. So many of those killed by Covid would be alive today if they had been treated early. Early treatment, as offered in other countries, prevents hospitalization and death. But in the United States, if someone goes to the hospital with moderate Covid, they are told to come back if they can barely breathe.
Scientific advancement regarding Covid treatment has been minimal as your government has allowed widespread censorship of medical viewpoints. Covid is a new disease. We need an open debate and discussion about treatment, not a medical dictatorship. Your administration demands that “misinformation” on the Internet must be censored. They dictated that people who theorize that Covid escaped Wuhan’s laboratories, rather than a wet market, would be kicked off social media. Great move! They have only proven why censorship is both dangerous and ineffective. All virologists definitely believe Covid came from a laboratory but are afraid to say so publicly. The way you silenced the scientific debate on the rationale is appalling.
The government is now working with Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to censor and remove people who express different views on Covid than those of the CDC or NIH. This is a violation of the First Amendment. The CDC allowed the teachers’ union to decide when schools should open. If people have ever trusted the CDC or the NIH, now they don’t and that’s your fault, not the fault of the unvaccinated people.
President Biden, my patience with your ill-founded arguments is waning. In your speech you said ten times that the vaccine was great and that it would protect people. Then you made a hate speech about how bad unvaccinated people are and that they infect vaccinated people with Covid. Why the urgent need for “protection” when the vaccine is so great? Why are you not confident that the vaccine will work properly? If the vaccine isn’t working badly, isn’t it the fault of the vaccine manufacturer, not the people who literally did nothing wrong?
Instead of having a tantrum and demonizing unvaccinated people, put your house in order. Appoint an independent, knowledgeable, and innovative person to take on the Covid efforts. END medical censorship and allow the debate. Invest in early treatment right away. And finally you stop insulting, shaming and blaming unvaccinated Americans. Act like a man, not a two year old.
