Ed Sheeran simply revealed that his child has had Covid twice

In a new interview, the “Bad Habits” singer spoke about quarantine with his one year old, fertility struggles and Paw Patrol.

Having a sick baby is never easy, especially if it’s your first – and Ed Sheeran should know. The singer recently announced that his one-year-old daughter Lyra suffered from COVID not once but twice. Poor baby!

Last month, Ed isolated with Lyra after they both caught COVID. “She had it in the summer too,” he said The breakfast club, a US radio show. “My wife had it in the summer and I didn’t get it.”

being new dad, Ed said he enjoyed spending time with his daughter, but it wasn’t just playtime. “It was fun, but if you’re trying to get better and you can’t say, ‘Let’s just watch a movie, can we just relax?” We feel you, Ed! Still, there was a silver lining: “It was really nice to be with her all the time.”

When the host asked Ed if he was concerned that the illness might be more serious the second time around, he replied, “They say it’s okay with children.” Fortunately, the little girl had manageable cases of COVID both times. During the interview, the Briton also spoke about those of his and his wife Cherry Seaborn bumpy road to conception Her daughter. “We tried to have a child for a while. We started going to doctors and finding out what was going on. We did a lot of tests. ”He explained. It finally happened to them on a journey together. “We went to Antarctica and Cherry got pregnant. Ed admitted it took until his thirties to realize that conception is “not a given.” He went on to say that he believes that many of the challenges in conception can be mental in nature, especially if you are concerned about other medical interventions like IVF. He explained that it helps to make the process light-hearted and said, “You go to a wedding or something and relax and then get pregnant.”

The one-year-old, born in late August 2020, leads an exciting life, traveling with her musician father to Los Angeles and New York City, where he was most recently a musical guest at SNL. “I’ve never spent time without her, not even a single night,” said the singer – although it was far from ideal to come home from the SNL after party at 2 in the morning just to get him back from his jet lag. And like many new parents, Ed was reluctant to welcome a new group of furry friends into his life: Paw patrol“I never let her have screens in front of her, so it’s like a crack when the screen is in front of her,” Ed said. “I swear they make this show specially for kids to just stick to.” Just wait for her to find Cocomelon!
