DEVO – AGE OF AUTISM
” Flower pot hats not included. ”
A festival of ignorance and moral superiority floods Facebook in a post that is shared everywhere. Regardless of your choice (and you know what we mean), base it on personal experience, medical history, discussions with your doctor, risk of each choice, outcome, and due diligence. Neither of us know what could happen if we choose V or not. Or whether we come down with “C” or not. Are we getting asymptomatic or suffocating? Nobody I know takes this lightly. We have a “friend of ours” who is fighting in the hospital right now. Imagine that an unvaccinated person who gets Covid “overfills” a hospital bed. What about every obese person with adult diabetes – are they “overloading” the dialysis centers? What About Any Smoker With Lung Cancer – Cluttered Oncology Wards? We are allowed to make decisions ourselves. Some of these could end up being “wrong choices”. The shame and joy I see when someone gets sick or dies of Covid is inhuman. I’ve seen women in my town ask 100 questions about a paint color before deciding on this post. (Unfriend.) This groupthink will lead to inhuman decisions and actions – a de-evolution. (Now the flower pot hats make sense, yeah? Devo.)
###
There’s a Facebook post this weekend.
I’m vaccinated and, no, I don’t know what’s in it – neither this vaccine I had as a kid, nor the Big Mac, nor hot dogs or other treatments … be it for cancer, AIDS, the polyarthritis or vaccines for infants or children. I trust my doctor when he / she says it is necessary.
Also, I don’t know what’s in ibuprofen, Tylenol or any other medication, it just cures my headache and pain …
I don’t know what’s in the ink for tattoos, vaping, or every ingredient in my soap or shampoo, or even deodorants. I don’t know the long-term effects of cell phone use or if the restaurant I just ate at used REALLY clean food and washed its hands.
In summary …
There are many things that I don’t know and will never know …
I only know one thing: life is short, very short, and I still want to do something other than just go to work every day or stay locked in my apartment. I still want to travel without fear and hug people and find a little way of life “beforehand”.
As a child and adult, I am vaccinated against mumps, measles, rubella, polio, chicken of your choice,
I am vaccinated, respect my choice …
I am vaccinated not to please the government, but to:
* So as not to die from Covid-19.
* DO NOT overload a hospital bed when I get sick.
* To hug my loved ones
* To avoid having to do PCR or antigen tests, to go dancing, go to a restaurant, go on vacation and much more …
* Live my life.
* So that my children / grandchildren go back to school and play sports.
* So that Covid-19 is an old memory.
* To protect us.
