Committee of Provide 2022 debate, Day 4: Denise Phua on uplifting particular training colleges
There are three compelling reasons why Singapore’s special education (SPED) system needs to be elevated and future-proofed, said MP Denise Phua. They are the pace of technological advancement, the need for better education outcomes, and the fact that it is even more imperative for people with special needs to continue learning throughout life. Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Mar 7), Ms Phua offered suggestions on how to “uplift SPED schools to the next lap”.
