CLARKSVILLE, TN – Tickets for the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce’s “Innovation in Education” breakfast held October 6th at Mosaic Church are on sale now. This new event is a collaborative conversation with district leaders of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. Tickets are $ 25 for members and $ 35 for non-members and are available at clarksvillechamber.com.

The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System is the seventh largest county in Tennessee with a record number of nearly 38,000 students currently enrolled for the 2021/22 school year.

This event will focus on sharing current and future growth plans for CMCSS in terms of the district’s strategic work. Each year, the district leaders develop strategic goals and initiatives for the benefit of stakeholders. The goals are geared towards the following goals: improving efficiency and effectiveness, improving study performance, engaging the public in supporting study performance, and maximizing staff capacity. To find out more about the strategic work 2021-22, visit www.cmcss.net/strategic-work.

The district is constantly exploring new and collaborative ways to communicate with stakeholders. A community-wide presentation enables participation in a large group discussion that focuses on the mission of educating and empowering students. Guests have the opportunity to hear from several members of the administration and ask questions to the panel.

The speakers will include:

  • Angela Huff, interim school director
  • Sean Impeartrice, Chief Academic Officer
  • Jeanine Johnson, Chief Human Resources Officer
  • Norm Brumblay, Chief Operations Officer
  • Chris Reneau, Chief Financial Officer
  • David Holman, Chief Technology Officer
  • Anthony Johnson, Chief Communications Officer

The community can also use this link to ask questions. Depending on the number of questions submitted, not all questions can be answered on stage during the limited time; however, additional feedback will be provided after the event. A replay will be available on the district website after the event.
